He was predeceased by: his parents, William Steinley and O'Linda Steinley (Lorenz). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Tamara Crowder (Larry), Dean Steinley (Christie) and Todd Steinley (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kody Boyer (Jessica), Allie Williams (Cy), Ella Crowder (Connor), Danielle Steinley (James), Mattie Sarver (Scott), Bill Steinley and Jacob Crowder; his great grandchildren, Cru, Colt Williams, Logan and Everett Sarver; his daughter Sherri Hardy; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Hannah; and his in-laws, Gary, Diana Ochsner, Sue, Larry Caddell and Darlene Ochsner. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, cousins, and friends.
