He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Michels and Ruth Michels (Fretheim); and his parents-in-law, Clair and Gladys Johnson. He is survived by: his uncle Rev. S. J. Fretheim; his former wife Pauline Wagar Robinson; his wife Sharon; his children, Kathy Hoffart (Frank), Doug and D. A. (Stefanie); his stepchildren, Jill Cooke (Darrin), Jan Nolan (Jim) and Jay Larsen (Brenda); his grandchildren, Michelle Lindblom O'Laverty (Bill), Jeff Lindblom (Tami), Tyler, Reilly Nolan, Olivia Larsen Seidel (Trevor), Logan Larsen, Leif Larsen, Marenn and Kali Larsen; and his great grandchildren, Megan, Bill O'Laverty, Gavin, Heath and Alonna Lindblom.
