He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Hays and Daisy Hays (MacKillop); his brother Thomas Mackillop Hays; and his sister-in-law Sonya Hays (Wright). He is survived by: his nephews, Holbrook Hays (Tammara) and Thomas Hays (Debbie); his niece Lisa Duvall (Rick); and his pets, Donald, Beanie, Gregory and Buster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
