He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hake Sr. and Ruth Hake (Rigg); his former wife Marie Hake; his children, Donna Harbers and Jim Hake; his stepdaughter Mary Ann Wolery; and his sisters, Elizabeth Gearhart, Caroline Hunter and Linda Christensen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Ed Hake (Kathy) of Big Sky and Judy Hake of Hamilton; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hake of Gallatin Gateway; his stepdaughters, Lela Kaiser of Havre and Betty Offerdahl (Ramsey) of Conrad; his stepson-in-law Loren Wolery (Linda) of Turner; his siblings, Marvel Pierce of Tracy and John Hake (Sharon) of Olathe, Kansas; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Bach of Fort Benton, Domingo Vasquez of Orlando and Steve Bebich (Shirley) of Shelby. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bear Paw Hospice 30 13th St. Havre, MT 59501, the Turner Christian Church 1335 Swenson Rd Turner, MT 59542, or the charity of ones choice.
