He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Alsup and Genevieve Alsup; and his daughter Lisa Van Pelt. He is survived by: his siblings, John Michael and Elizabeth Ann; his wife Juliet Buckley; his children, Shelton W Alsup, Katherine A Fernandez (Louis), Patrick J Alsup (Theresa), Elizabeth C Plake (Jim), John L Alsup, Margaret M Steinhilber (Carl) and Mary G Rehmann (Dan) of Damon, L. S.; his grandchildren, Jason, James, Michael, Christopher, Laura, Sarah, John, Clara, Anna, Julia, Adam, Andrew, Emily and Elena; his great grandchildren, Jason Connor, Artemis, Chase, Cassin, Charlotte, Ryleigh, Rowan, Alexander, Juliet and Alice; and his sisters, Elizabeth Pearce and Mary Jane Moog. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
