He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford Fretheim and Margaret Fretheim; his stepfather Dewey Fowler; his former wife Mary Ellen; and his brother Myron.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Cindy) of Shelby and Mel (Lynda) of Shelby; his wife Brenda Jones of Conrad; his daughters, Marlea Irvin (Mike) of Shelby and Marsha Diemert (Darron) of Johnstown, CO; his brother Milton (Judy) of Columbia Falls; his sister-in-law Connie Fretheim; and his brothers, Roy (Marie Jones) and Barry (Barbara Jones). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Social distancing protocol will be enforced.
Services will be held at the Valley View Cemetery in Shelby on Thursday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. Memorials can be made to Toole County 4-H Counsel or any other charity of your choice.
