He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilia Stratman and Joseph Stratman; his wife Angela; and his siblings, William, Harry, Sylvia, Sylvester, Donald, Lorraine, Marion, Robert, Margaret, Gerald and Doreen.

He is survived by: his children, Monica (Scott Stross) and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Markus and Helena Stratman; and his sisters, LaVerne Parker and Leona Penberthy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
