He was predeceased by: his wife Frances "Fritz" Winter; his son Rod Winter; his sister Donna Wilson (Murrel); and his grandson Max Winter. He is survived by: his children, Darby McDermott (Jerry), Debbie Ranes (Rich) and Randy Winter (Julie); his grandchildren, Christy Hamilton (Jeff), Lyndi Smith (Opie), Brad McDermott (Amanda), Lisa Campbell (Nick) and Clayton Winter; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Brinlee, Chloe, Grayson Hamilton, Allyn McDermott, Ivy, Heath, Jackson and Kooper Campbell; and his sister Beverly Grass.
