He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Pirrie and Mary Pirrie; his siblings, Bill Pirrie, Whit Pirrie, Don Pirrie, Retha Young, Dorthy O'Brien, Elizabeth Black and Edison Pirrie; his wife Barbara Fortney Pirrie; his children, Susan Oswald and Jeff Pirrie; his son-in-law David Oswald; his grandchildren, Chris Oswald (Jeannett), Brian Oswald (Paula) and Maria Gates (Ernest); and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Jasmine Oswald, Samantha Repko, Derek, Xavier Oswald and Autumn Gates. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
