Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gertrude Strand of Scobey, Montana, born in Plentywood, Montana, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 12, 2022. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Esmer Fink (Roderick) and John Peter Fink; her husband Marvin Strand (Buzz); her daughters, Deborah and Terrie; her adoptive parent Buzz; her daughter Brenda Kerstein of Scobey, MT; her grandchildren, Rocky, Roxanne, Coy, Briana and Alyssa; her siblings, Theresa Trewyn (Duane) and Joseph Fink (Phyllis); and her son-in-law Richard Kerstein. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several cousins.

Gert attended St. Thomas in Great Falls her freshman and sophomore years winning the Geisey Foundation award her freshman year.
