He was predeceased by: his parents, Didrik Juel and Hazel Juel; his wife Marjorie; his brothers, Glen, Norman, Lyle and Dale; and his grandson Scotty Hoffmeyer, Jr..
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Elaine Ann Carrier of Four Buttes; his children, India Ashcraft (Terry) of Scobey and Erling A. Juel (Dixie) of Power, MT; his stepchildren, Susan DeJong (Steve) of Steven Pass, WA and Scott Hoffmeyer of California; and his brother Chester. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
