She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Christman (Richau); her fiancé Gottlieb Schmierer; and her siblings, Edna, Florence, Mildred, Francis, Vernon and Clarence.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Schmierer (Karen), Dee Ann Sifuentes (Fred), Lee Roy Schmierer (Charity) and Delton Christman (Jean); and her siblings, Martha, Delores, Betty, Grace, Linda, Caroline, Karen and Calvin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
