She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Parley Kent and Annie Leona Talbert Kent; her daughters, Marjorie and Kathy; her son-in-law Alvin; and her great grandchild Lindy Quequesah. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
After high school, she worked for the Sisters of Charity in their kitchen in St. Ignatius as a cook's helper.
