He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Evin Kimmel and Mary Luella Heath; his brothers, Heath, Donald, Gale and Dale; his siblings-in-law, Reverend Elmer, Clara Robison and Paul Robison; his son Evin Kimmel; his daughter-in-law Juiling; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Kimmel, Marshall Pablo and Terje Pablo.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine; and his daughters, Kathy Kimmel, Linda Haydon and Shirley Pablo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
