He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gardipe and Juanita Gardipe (Bunny). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Lee Bourdon and Franklin Red Cherries Bourdon; his grandchildren, Baptiste BJ, Leon Nowhel, Nathaniel, Liam, Chase, Leiloni, C'Ann, Jonah, Ruby and Little Baylor; and his siblings, Scotty Gardipe (Evaro), Charlene, Jim Si John of Wellpinit, WA, Bruce, Eve Gardipe of Worley, ID, Bernie, Tim Atwin (Ronan) and Marilyn Gardipe (Pablo).
A rosary was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Longhouse. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ignatius Catholic Church (300 Beartrack Ave, St Ignatius, MT 59865). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Salish Tribal Cemetery.
