He was predeceased by: his parents, James Skunkcap and Victoria MadPlume Rattler; his children, Corwin Keith Skunkcap, Everette Daniel Skunkcap and Everleen Spottedbear; his stepsons, Shawn and Brent; and his granddaughter Maka Joyann.
He is survived by: his children, Lynette Trombley, Carla SureChief, Lisa Skunkcap, Jamie Skunkcap, Jessica LaPlant (Wilbur), Sherri SpottedBear, Aaron Skunkcap, Marissa Skunkcap and Jadys Skunkcap; and his siblings, Gayle Skunkcap Sr., Darlene Wall, LeRoy Skunkcap and Dewey Skunkcap. He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren.
A wake was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Dominion Center. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Willow Creek Cemetery.
