He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sodt and Betty Sodt (Carlson); his wife Sally Wood; his brothers, William Jr. and James; and his grandsons, Matthew Mavity (Matt) and Matt.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Marie Lobdell (Cody) of Hysham, Montana, Gary Lee Sodt Jr. (Jan) of Hampshire and Greg Lee Sodt (Tracey) of Richey, Montana; his grandchildren, Dustin, Gage, Peyton, Gary, Kody, Jess and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Shannah, Madison, Kylee, Tripp, Luxx, Vera, Trey and Violet.
