He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Anne and Melvin Leo Nelms; his siblings, Annalynn Marie Barton (Dennis), Monte Nelms, Debbie, LJ Nelms (Kris), Big John Nelms (Michael) and Deidra Diane Brottlurd (Greg); his children, Robert Leo Nelms (Nicole) and Rene Lynn Turnbull (Benjamin); and his grandchildren, Leo, Isabell, Jaxon, Kaden, Ryan and Brody. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
