She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Olson and Louise Olson; her husband Virgil Farris; her children, Monte, Sheri and TJ; her brother Richard Olson; and her stepson John Coutts.
She is survived by: her brother Wayne Olson (Kathleen "Kathy"); her sister-in-law Virginia Olson; her adoptive son John Holman (Marcella) of Spearville; her grandchildren, Ronnie Watson, Lindsay Watson, Levi Watson (Betty), Trevor Watson (Jenny), Helena and Ryan Anderson (Megan) of Ely, Minnesota.; and her pet Oreo. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
