Vida Muskrat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vida Muskrat (Poplar, Montana), who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph and Vida; her children, Llewellyn, Ralph, Isabelle, Catherine Russell, Davey, Desmond Sr. and John Muskrat; her sister Beverly Walking Eagle-Baker; and her grandson Richard Russell.
She is survived by: her grandfather White Hawk; her cousin Mercelline; her spouse Daniel Russell; her grandchildren, Talissa Muskrat and Desmond Muskrat Jr.; her daughters, JoAnn Russell of Poplar and Bonnie Menz of Fort Kipp; her grandchild Tim Red Eagle Sr.; her nieces and nephews, Maureen, Marie, Mavis Drastz, Adrian Ireland and Peggy Ireland; and her sons, Andrew Ireland of Devils Lake, Aiden Ireland of Devils Lake, Tony Ross of Devils Lake and Peggy Cavanaugh of Devils Lake. She is also survived by grandchildren that she raised as her own Danette Scott, Talissa Muskrat, Dorrance Comes Last and Devyn Montclair all of Poplar, and Desmond Muskrat Jr. of Washington; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.; adopted children; nieces and nephews; all of Beverly Walking Eagle-Baker's children.
