He is survived by: his siblings, Cheryl Melbourne-Martell of Poplar, MT and Lawrence Melbourne of Portland, OR; his children, Stanford Melbourne of Regina, SK and Richelle Melbourne of Sioux Falls, SD; his granddaughter Uriyah Necklace of Grand Forks, ND; his nieces and nephews, Darwin Melbourne, Floyd Martell, Duane Martell, Anthony Melbourne, Thomas Melbourne, Vanessa Red Star, Jessica Red Star, Elizabeth Martell (Jeremy), Dawn Martell (Jesse), Wilma Martell and Sabrina Martell; his adoptive daughters, Laney Boadle, Evangeline RunsThrough (Johnathan) and Tanya Nation; and also, Adam, Jade, Diane, Bunkers, Lil'Man Longee (Samantha), Kenda Martell (Martin), Theresa Sun Rhodes, Margorie Keiser, Jessica Sun Rhodes, Angeline Cheek, John FastHorse, Frank Martell, Yellow and Sun Rhodes.
A wake was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Poplar Cultural Center (702 Court Ave, Poplar, MT 59255). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Poplar City Cemetery (600 Court Ave, Poplar, MT 59255).
