He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Alfrey and Clarence Birthmark; his stepfather Lavern Alfrey; his siblings, Sharon Owens, Diane Chase, Lynn Birthmark, Darryl Birthmark, James Birthmark, Joyce Birthmark, Clarice Birthmark, Nolan Birthmark, Kermit Birthmark and Scott Harrington; his nephews, Lynn Curtis Birthmark and Thomas Lynn Morsette; and his niece Claudette Chase.
He is survived by: his children, Hether Demko, Jennifer Graybull, Lila Sage, Oaklee Renee (Colter GrayHawk) and Sheldon Pinkerton (Mariah); his sister Sandra Birthmark; his sister-in-law Rose Morsette; his nieces and nephews, Jonnie Harrington, Leanda Cashman, Debra Hapa, Richard Chase, Nathan Chase Sr., James Chase, Robert Birthmark and Willie Birthmark; his cousins, Julian Shields and Michelene FastHorse; his nieces, Maureen GrayHawk (Brad) and Marie Draszt of Mavis Draszt, J. R; his siblings, Tommy Christian and Dela Brown; and his grandson William Chopper.
