He was predeceased by: his father Victor Grant, Sr.; his grandparents, Zelda Lester, Paul Grant Sr. and Virginia Lame; his pet Paul Red Star Jr.; his great-grandparent William Lame; his pet Eva Blount Horn; his great-grandparents, Helen Brown and Stanley Lester; his aunts and uncles, Maxine Grey Bull, Teri Red Star, DeAnna Youpee-Red Star, Delmer Red Star, Malcolm Grant, Perry Grey Bull, Reginald Scott, William Jones Sr. and Darryl Jones; his cousins, Tyra Scott, April Scott, Terrance Ricker, O'Ryan Red Star, Rodrick Red Star, William Red Star, Travis Grey Bull, Dawn Bearcub and Fontella Clincher; his grandparents, Rita Coster, Lillian Fire Thunder, Carol Red Star, Davetta Looking, Audrey Scott, Neville Red Star Sr., Alan Lester, Dorrance Scott, Oscar Hollow Horn, Adolph Hollow Horn, Stanley Hollow Horn Sr. and Emerson Lame; his pets, Leonard Lame and Joseph Lame; and his uncle Paul Red Star III.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Red Star; his siblings, Tricia Red Star (Isaac), Victor Grant Jr. (Jada) and Dorrance Grant (Clara); his aunts and uncles, Nancy Red Star, Josephine Red Star, Pauline Grant, Leah Grant, Crystal Azure, Sally Saude, George Red Star, Samuel Red Star, Levi Red Star Sr., Delbert Red Star, Joseph Red Star, Harold Lester, David Grant, Bobby Grant Jr. and Lester Menz Sr.; and his grandparents, Elmer Red Star, John Red Star, Felix Roubideaux, Annie Lester, Julia Young, Margaret Hapa, Laverne LovesHIm, Yvette Todd and Louise Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends.
A wake will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Poplar Cultural Center (702 Court Ave, Poplar, MT 59255). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Ann's Cemetery.
