He is survived by: his wife Brenda Merritt; his children, Gary Merritt (Jeanette), Roger Merritt (Leigh), David Merritt (Tania), Mary Shores (Troy) and Nadene Vaught (Dan); his brother Roy Merritt (Norma); his grandchildren, Stacey Harris (Joe), Dustin Merritt (Candace), Jason Merritt, Ali Merritt, Heather Murray (Jacob), Brennen Merritt, Colton, Kortney, Parker, Ryker Merritt, David, Adam and Bethany Vaught; and his great grandchildren, Emeri, Axton, Boden Harris, Easton, Wade Merritt, Selah and Mila Murray.
