He is survived by: his son Steven B. Payson of Lamesa; his grandson Erik B. Payson; his wife Lorraine Thompson of Polson; his grandson Erik Payson of Lamesa; and his sisters, Mary Payson Martin of Polson and Susan Payson of Vancouver. He is also survived by 6 nephews, numerous friends.
