He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Rovig; his siblings, Angie, Adam, Melisa and Jerry; his wife Susan Shackelford (Bartnes); his children, Adam Bowman of Alaska, Jerry Shackelford (Dana) of North Dakota, Jacob Bowman of North Dakota, Angela Johanson (Brad) of Idaho and Melisa Reddick (Chad) of Montana; his siblings, Stephan Bowman (Peggy) of Montana, Brent Bowman (Jody) of Arkansas and Mary; his uncle Marlowe Onstad (Elaine); his aunt Janet Rasmussen; his brothers-in-law, Gary Bartnes (Linda) and Steve Bartnes (Jeannie); and his grandchildren, Marcus, Allison, Sarah, Carly, Grace, Hailee, MacKenzie, Colin, Emma, Megan, Sandra, Sean and Gunnar. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
