Leona Raaum Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Raaum of Plentywood, Montana, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Healy Ferestad and Alene Ferestad (Cavanagh); her son Ward; her grandsons, Kasey Hudson and Michael Thomas; and her brother Stanley Ferestad.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Raaum of Fortuna, ND; her daughters, Tresa Clyde of Gilbert, AZ and Lori Hudson (Scott) of Sheridan, WY; her sisters, Bev Fisher (Ralph) of Scobey, MT, Laura Buer (Jim) of Scobey, MT and Edna Cole of Scobey, MT; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Ferestad of Portland, OR, Lois Raaum of Culbertson, MT, Sandra Raaum of Mandan, ND and Clarence Gnoinsky of Williston, ND. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Parkinson's didn't keep her from continuing to do the things she loved – planting flowers, embroidering literally hundreds of items and putting dozens and dozens of jigsaw puzzles together.
