He was predeceased by: his father Torgeir Vik; his cousins, Judy Crowder (Andersen), Gordy Kampen and Jean Kampen; his aunts and uncles, Jorgen Egeland, Carl Kampen, Merlin Anderson, Gudrun Kampen, Oda Vik, Margaret Andersen and Betty Cauley; and also, Jim Watson and Mark Chambers.
He is survived by: his mother Emma Jane Vik (Cauley); his sister Angie Deplazes (Anthony); and his nieces and nephews, Randy Deplazes (Karla), Steve Deplazes (Anne), Kari Bazan (Vladimir) and Karla Dickey (David). He is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
