He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Severson and Minnie Severson (Kanning); his siblings, Leonard (Darlene), Janeatte Roberts (Gary) and Robert; his parents-in-law, Everett and Ruby Melby; his stepmother-in-law Annetta Melby; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Rice, Vernon Melby and Lawrence Larson.
He is survived by: his children, Dallas (Jennifer), Paula (Brian) and Gordon Jr. (Graciela); his wife Linda Melby; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Samantha), Kayla (Dylan), Jenna (Garrett), Rachael, Samantha (Chaz), Derek, Xavier, Tyrell (Elle) and Alanna; his great grandchildren, Dawson, Ensley, Rowen, Lucas and Blake; and his siblings, Darlene Rice, Gene and Lynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
