He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil "Gramps" Tappe and Hilma "Bobbie" Tappe (Johnson); and his sister Jean Wientjes. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Veis of Plentywood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
