He was predeceased by: his father Major Smith; and his brother Pat Smith. He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Smith; his wife Sharrill; his children, Alicia Cowen (Mitch), Shawn Inman (Debbie) and Jeff Smith; his grandchildren, Kennley Inman, Flynn and Tucker Cowen; his great grandchildren, Joshua and Gabriel Inman; and his siblings, Chuck (Sharon), Barb (Butch), Mary Sue (Russ) and Jane (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (107 Meany St, Plains, MT 59859).
