He was predeceased by: his parents, Esbon Bache and Ethel Bache (Nixon); his wife Virginia Ritter; his daughter Diana Lakel; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lakel and Jeffery Lakel; and his siblings, Bessie, Fred, Cecil, Frank and Bobby.
He is survived by: his brothers, John and Kenny; his children, Cathy Oliver of Plains, Cheryl Brock of Billings, Ed Bache and Joe Bache (LeeAnn) of Plains; and his grandchildren, Chad Bache, Erin Hayder (John), Chelsea Kenyon, Eric Bache, Adam Bache (Gabby), Craig Bache (Terra), Sara Hannum (Zach), Christopher Bache, Julia Oliver, Nathan Bache and Lisa Bache. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
