He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton H. Borden and Nellie A. Borden; and his siblings, Ronald Borden, Ed Borden, Dona King and Nyla Borden.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Borden; his daughter Shelly (Jerry Bradley); his grandchildren, Thomas Elder, Leigha Elder (Dave Duval) and Kayla Clawson (Sean Langworthy); and his caregiver Amy McGann. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
