He was predeceased by: his father Robert Galland; his wife Marjorie Galland; his brother Bobby Galland; and his in-laws, Maynard Huschka, Mark Endelicato, Tony Praus and Joe Wanner.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara "Jackie" Galland (Larson) of Outlook; his sons, Sam Galland (Whitney) of Glasgow and Mitch Galland (Renessa) of Havre; his granddaughter Vivian Galland; his sisters, Sammie Hurtig (Steve) of Shelby and LaVonne Johnson (Carl) of Butte; and his in-laws, Rosie Huschka of Billings, Viola Rech (Ken) of Minnesota, Shirley Endelicato of Iowa, Eleanor Praus of North Dakota, Pat Hensel (Art) of North Dakota, Ken Wanner (Pam) of North Dakota, Jackie Kinzel (Robert) of North Dakota, Renae Wanner of North Dakota and Millie Wagner (Craig Steve) of North Dakota. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Roger's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his memory to the Jamie Young Memorial Foundation, PO Box 685, Havre, MT 59501.
