She was predeceased by: her parents, Euel Heard and Ruth Heard (Carpenter); her son Mike Ash; her granddaughter Nina Ash; and her brother Dean Heard.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Ash; her children, Ron Ash (Cecile), Patricia Cress (Bill) and Sheryl Thomas (Kent); and her siblings, Joe Heard, Janelle Beaver, Joyce Dunn and Judy Akers. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
