We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 86, Joan Nelson of Moore, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Peterson and Alma Peterson (Roane); her children, Dale Bacon and Julia Nedens; her grandsons, Mike Thomas and Nick Bacon; and her great grandchild Mercedes Contreras.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Nelson of Moore; her children, Lawrence Bacon (Lumen), Joy Hertz (Mark), Elma Peters (Norm), Mickey Potts (Tony), David Bacon (Kaushik), Tim Nelson (Irva), Corey Bacon (Stephanie) and William Nelson; her son-in-law Jeff Nedens; and her sister-in-law Sheila Nelson. She is also survived by Her 35 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cloyd Funeral Home & Cremation (209 3rd Ave N, Lewistown, MT 59457).
