He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Heppell (Rooney) and Earl Heppell; his brother Larry; and his brother-in-law Gene Denzel. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Stephen Ray of Sherman Oaks, CA, Kelli Bungay (Corey) of Ocoee, FL and Sara Barker (Tom) of Great Falls, MT; and his sisters, Charlene Denzel, Kathleen Heppell and Helen Miller (Ron). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
