With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Toby Mary Lou Tobias-Hunter of Missoula, Montana, born in Hoven, South Dakota, who passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Toby Mary Lou Tobias-Hunter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Tobias and Mary Tobias (DeRouchey); her siblings, Anthony Jr., William Tobias and June Pittman (Bob Hunter); and her son Jon Shields.

She is survived by: her former husband Richard Shields (Dick); her daughter Mary Helen Houlihan; her grandchildren, Molly, Katelyn Houlihan, Haley Inabnit (Shields), Amelia Shields, Dustin and Alex Talbert; and her siblings, Gladys Rea, Richard, James and Edward Tobias. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
