He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ryan and Dorothy Ryan; his wife Cornelia Ryan; his parents-in-law, Fortunato and Maria Hatud; his daughter Josephine Ryan; and his brothers, Michael Ryan and Daniel Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Ryan (Heidi) of Superior, Jennifer Ryan (Tom Tanner) of Arlee, Francis Ryan (Paula) of Hermiston, OR, Rosemary Davis (Luke) of Lethbridge, AB, Kathleen Ryan (Cody Tanner) of Arlee, Maureen Freeman (Michael) of Kalispell, Hima Thompson (Andrew) of Anacortes, WA and Joseph Ryan (Klara) of Missoula; and his brother Patrick Ryan of Evaro. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
