He was predeceased by: his wife Kay; his son Michael; his mother Madeline; his brother Tommy; his uncle Simon "Si" McKittrick; his parents-in-law, Enie and Pete Peterson; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Martin, Eddy and Jimmy Peterson.
He is survived by: his brother Mick (Alice); his sisters-in-law, Mary Heaney and Patsy Martin; his children, Marty (Joanne), Pat, Dan, Katie (Mike) and Colleen (Bill); and his grandchildren, Leah, Lacey (Colin), Jade, Hattie, Cade and Drew.
