He is survived by: his father Joseph Hiett; his stepmother Sonia Shearer-Hiett; his mother Catherine Kowalski; his sister Katie Hiett; his grandparents, Leslie Leyva, Wayne and Cora Hiett; his friend Nick Alonzo; and his sons, Brock and Taylor Alonzo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
