He was predeceased by: his parents, William Collins and Carolyn Collins; his wife Grace; his children-in-law, Bernadette Collins and Russ McKinnon; and his siblings, Willie, Gerry and Colette.

He is survived by: his sister Bernadette Maurer; his brother-in-law Robert Weiner; his children, Moe Coryell (Carson), Kevin Collins (Margaret), Tim Collins (Susan) and Katy McKinnon; and his grandchildren, Michelle (JJ), Mike (Heidi), Maggie (Luke), Noelle (Mark), Stuart (Annie), Alli (Erik), Meagan (Noah) and Rian. He is also survived by great grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
