He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Nelson and Clara Nelson (Maiden Name); his wife Shirley Nelson; and his brother Mark Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Ivan Nelson (Dianne), Eric Nelson (Julie) and Lynn Ripley (Frank); and his sister Katherine Nelson. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
