She is survived by: her husband Larry Hiller; her daughter Diana Sontag; her son-in-law Steve; her granddaughter Amanda Knudsen; her grandson-in-law Jordan; her granddaughter Kelleigh Sontag; her daughter Stacey Rossmiller; her son-in-law Mike; her grandchildren, Matthew and Kaytlin; and her brother Herman "Al" Walters.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Irene's name to Missoula Animeals.
