He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Blaze Helmer and Chad Belcourt; his daughters, Kim Cox and Lesa Matheny; and his grandchildren, Kit Helmer (Jen), Dusty Helmer (Melina) and Kari Winder (Tyrel).
