He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Johnson and Helen Johnson (Lea); and his siblings, Norm, George and Vera.
He is survived by: his wife Verle Oakley; his children, Jim Johnson of Denver and Vicki Johnson (Dorothy) of Florence; and his family, Linda Clovis, Tracy Sanders of Coeur d'Alene, Brian Gross (Christina) of Tucson and Donna Caskey of SeaTac.
