It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William McCleerey of Missoula, Montana, born in Big Timber, Montana, who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McCleerey and Mary McCleerey. He is survived by: his wife Janis D Shepard; his daughter Margaret M McCleerey of Phoenix, AZ; and his granddaughter Abigail L McCleerey of Missoula, MT..
In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to the wounded warrior project or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial fund.
