He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Larie Fite and Virgil Roosevelt Fite; his former wife Loretta Babcock; his sons, Vern (Roberta), Darrel Jr. and Devery; his stepson Dale Fite; his siblings, Carolyn Majors and Larry (Maribeth); his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Fite and Dolly Fite; his grandmother Babcock; his brothers, Meredith Fite and Duane Fite; and his stepson David Fite. He was also cherished by her 3 children, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and many friends.
