He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Johnson and Etta Johnson (Parish); his half-sister Lolita Loudon (Dannat); his wife Janice L. Needles (Jan); his daughters, Trina and Dora; his brothers, Donald Dannat and Dennis Dannat; his sisters-in-law, Carol and Patricia; and also Taylor Cameron Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Monte (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Mandie Jo Hunt and Anthony Johnson (Kaitlyn); his son-in-law Charles Miller III; and his grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Nicole), Charles Miller IV, Justin Miller, Jason Miller (Katie), Rita Berry, Christina Manley and Darrel John Johnson (Little Darrel). He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
