He was predeceased by: his grandfather Roy Haarman. He is survived by: his parents, Jason Kowalski and Janine Kowalski; his sister Megan; his grandparents, Kathy Haarman, Dick Kowalski (Joanne) and Barbara Zimolong; his uncles, John Kowalski (Jennifer) and Paul Kalstad; his cousins, Aida Kowalski, McKenna Kalstad and Haylie Kalstad; and his pet Huntley. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
